RMK: Very heavy shower approx 1015-1100z. Brief bursts of hail
and one clap of thunder. Max gust measured in the shower
was 29 kn. Temperature fell to 5.7 at 1030z. It was very
unpleasant for a while (I was on the golf course!). The
max gust measured overall was 30 kn in fine weather at
1205z.
This is the strongest gust during this whole spell of
unsettled weather. Approx 20 mm of rain since 00z.
