I remember that winter. Lovely and mild grin.
Amazing isn't it, only 10th December and already people are writing the winter
off LOL.
Long way to go yet.

This month reminds me of the very mild December 1988, when we also ended
up with the warmest Winter on record at least here (1960-2006)!
We had 6cms of snow on November 20th 1988 (not even had any snow
this November) then we went all the way through December 88, January 89
and the first 16 days of February 89 before we finally got some snow
with 3cms falling on February 17th!
I am sure we are heading for the same kind of Winter this year but
perhaps warmer!!
