Default Honister Pass 180mm in 24hrs- Cumbria

There could be a disaster on the way?
A waving cold front is expected for next 3-4 days.
Orographic enhancement as well in a "favourable" wind direction, flooding seems
almost a certainty :-(

Local chap from the Environment Agency reported on radio Cumbria this
morning that 180mm of rain had fallen at Honister Pass in the central lakes
area of Cumbria, must be one of the wettest gauges in the country !
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/6168855.stm

I heard the report myself and I thought he said 7.5 inches which is 190.5mm

Rivers Eden and Eamont have burst there banks but only low lying land
affected at the moment, I wonder how much more we can take

PS. I only had 12.5mm but have 73.2mm for the month so far
