Hi all,

I am curious to work out where the best place is for an astronomer
to live in the UK. In other words, what location in the UK has the
greatest number of clear nights per year?

Do databases exist (preferably online) that give the total number of
clear nights (or days, I guess it doesn't matter for collecting
statistics) per year for many locations across the UK, preferably for
the last 10 years+ (to get some decent statistics)?
