Shades of Easter Monday a couple of years back when Bournemouth played MK
Dons... didnt see their winner (thank god) as the far end had been obscured
by fog that came rolling off the sea mid-afternoon.
LVPs also in force at Bournemouth when I arrived at work next door this
morning, was thinking if we stayed clear we'd get a few diversions.

I used to be an Aberdeen fan. We had a home match against some
European team. For those who don't know the locality, the stadium is
a less than 200 metres from the sea.
I was watching (?) from the "sea end". The haar rolled in. I
could scarcely see as far as the halfway line. The players (except the
opposition's goalie) vanished out of sight at the far end. There was
a horrible groan from the crowd. They had just scored the winner.
I am convinced to this day that they must have been offside!
