BRACKNELL (TAWFIELD)
0900 W F1 0200 FZFG VV/// T-006D-008
RMK: (Very light covering of ice on grass min. thermo., though that's
probably freezing of in-situ dew/fog deposit rather than the fog itself
depositing rime as it drifts past - no other surfaces appear to be
ice-covered, just very wet!
[ OVERNIGHT DATA (18Z - 09Z):
screen min: -00.6 grass min: -00.2 precipitation: 0.1 [24hr total: 00.1
mm]
other data: Confirm that grass min IS higher than air min. Both minima
at 0900Z. 0.1mm from dew/fog drip etc., not from PPN. ]=
1300 W F2 0250 FG VV/// T009D007
RMK: little real change in conditions past few hours, though with the
recent increase in wind, the sound of drops of water from the trees is
obvious! Technically 'sky obscured', though right overhead I can see a
vague 'blueness' from the sky which suggests that there is not much
cloud (if any) about.=
1500 WSW F1 0300 FG 5/ST T013D010
RMK: 5St~001/002 (effectively thin/breaking veil arching over from fog
elsewhere I should think - some 'blueness' seen to sky).
1800 SW F1 0200 FG T000D-002
RMK: a dank, 'drippy' evening.
[ DAYTIME DATA (09Z - 18Z):
screen max: 01.3 precipitation: 0.1
other data: 0.1mm from the continuous 'wet' fog conditions through the
day. ]=
2100 WSW F1 0250 FZFG VV/// T-008D-010
RMK: not a lot changing - very light drift from west. Grass min.
reading -0.9°C, with light hoar deposit.=
