Last night around 8PM I noticed that fine ice crystals were being
formed and falling as fine snow. The crystals were quite hard and

When I woke this morning I assumed the whiteness on the ground was
frost, but on inspection it was clear these were loose particles,
resulting in a covering of 2mm or so. This was in Tadley which is at
around 100 meters ASL. However this was very localised, within a mile
in all directions there was no lying snow.
This isn't the first time I have seen localised snow fall in Tadley.
Too far away to be Didcot snow which there was some of this morning
(from the cooling tower plumes).
Intresting point, there is of course a nuclear reactor within the
confines of AWE (right next door) and it's not unusual to see plumes
of stream.
I live very close to Didcot Power Station and currently we have a cover
of fine 'snow' over cars and grass. Benson is recording a 2mph ESE wind
currently which would be spot on for me receiving Didcot Snow (TM).
