BRACKNELL (TAWFIELD)
0745 W F1 0400 FZFG T-019D-022
RMK: [SKC - I think]: slight hoar deposit.=
0900 VRB F1 0400 FZFG T-016D-019
RMK: [SKC - as sure as I can be; there is definite 'blueness' above,
though the vertical extent of the fog makes it difficult to be su
light rime (first time for this event), as well as very patchy hoar
frost].
[ OVERNIGHT DATA (18Z - 09Z):
screen min: -01.9 grass min: -01.5 precipitation: 0.1 [24hr total: 00.2
mm] ]=
1200 CALM 0300 FZFG VV/// T-006D-009
RMK: Fog has thickened vertically and horizontally over past 2 hours.
Grass min. thermo. reading +0.8°C.
NOTE correction to 'precipitation' in above report, which now gives us a
'rain day' for the 21st.=
1500 CALM 0250 FG VV/// T006D004
RMK: We weren't here on the afternoon in question to note the exact
time of fog formation (on the 19th), but we are close to having 72hr of
continuous fog (VIS1km) now.=

1800 W F1 0150 FG VV/// T004D004
RMK: Everything is very damp - including the thermometers inside the
screen: had to dry the stem carefully before I could read them
accurately. The wind is really variable, but there is a slight westerly
drift at times.
[ DAYTIME DATA (09Z - 18Z):
screen max: 00.6 precipitation: tr
other data: trace of PPN from wet fog and earlier rime/melted. ]=
