Well done that man!
Michael,
Let's have a reality check here. He put the entire globe on notice for
who knows what. There was no magnitude range, no real window, no set
magnitude for the entire world? I'm sorry if that's the best he can do
with his "warning type signals" then he needs an upgrade to his system
so that it/he can at least narrow it down to some quandrant of the
globe.
On average there are 18 - 7.0M quakes per year, more than one a month,
so this would not be significant which of course he is well aware of
that. And it is even less significant since he never said where.
Only give credit when credit is due, he issued the broadest form of
warning possible and will regale in claiming his hit when there's no
reason to give him credit for it at all.... Here's the list, figure
it out for yourself.... Petra

Now let's have a look at what he said:
First, a recognition of something that we are not too sure about but
causes no small whirlpooling from the trolls on sci.geo.earthquakes,
panderers with nothing of their own to add (past cut and paste that is)
whose sole claim yto fame is a passion for disbelief:
A strong earthquake warning type signal was detected at 2006/12/20 18:21:00
UTC.
Next an example of time delays:
Numerous strong earthquake warning type signals were detected
between about October 10, 2006 and November 14, 2006. And quite a few
formal and informal earthquake warnings were circulated during that time. A
number were posted to the sci.geo.earthquakes Internet Newsgroup. My data
indicate to me that the earthquake responsible in part for many of those
signals was the following powerful Kuril Islands earthquake.
2006/11/15 11:14:16 46.57N 153.24E 27 8.3 Kuril Islands
(NEIS data)
As that earthquake demonstrated, there can be lengthy time delays between
when the first warning signals are detected and when the earthquake finally
occurs.
What has he done that is so harmful?
So he won't talk to the **** that inhabit this stone circle? Who does
talk to a caucus of cack?
The quakes came well within the spell I would have given it if I had
been paying as much attention.
And it wasn't just one megaquake was it?
How did the money miss it?
Were they all spending time with their families watching Santa Clause
films on TV instead of watching their seismographs?
Who else gave a warning of any of this?
Whatever they were doing, the ****wits on duty missed every other sign.
So what the ****ing hell are they getting paid for? This was Boxing
Day, the second anniversary of one of the deadliest events of that kind
in history.
If their were any hints, the ****wits in charge of watching for them
should be hanged. If there were none, then they should all be dismissed
and their offices and machinery closed down.
TWO bloody big quakes hit the same portion of the planet in a region
everyone was watching and no one had any idea. Is that what you want to
report? Keep your gob shut. They did.
Let someone in the White House drop one of the strings controlling the
British PM and bury some of the bad news. Wait for a another duff chimp
to pop his rivets. "Let the earth rise up and bury them." to misquote a
scripture in the Apocalypse.
Just don't ask questions.
I never followed this thread as I too was sceptical but most of the
orifices on here were quick enough to post their jerkoff smearing him.
Maybe he does deserve it but at least he should be given the credit he
is due, too.
I wonder if any of them have the humility to feel a little shame. I
couldn't care less though. **** them all. They are a useless waste of
space. Anyone reading their posts has nothing better to do.
