Global Warming a Global Challenge

Ideally I'm looking for links to data from the following locations
since circa 1900, although similar locations with a sizeable amount of
data will suffice, as I believe these will throw substantial weight
behind whether Global Warming is, or is not taking place.
I can't help you with the sources of data. But I imagine that the data is
quite likely to be freely and widely available.
A good source of help for your project might be alt.global-warming. If you
haven't looked there yet you will find an endless supply of helpful and
friendly "experts" just waiting to guide you.
I think that the fact that we live in a gently warming world is not in
doubt. But the word "Challenge" from your message heading implies there is
something to be done about the warming. We should be very careful in drawing
any conclusions about the cause or eventual effects of that warming. If the
warming is mostly or entirely natural then we have no choice but to enjoy
the ride. If there is irrefutable evidence that mankind has mostly or
entirely caused the warming then we have to be careful. It is quite possible
that a political reaction to G.W. could be a greater threat to society as we
know it than the actual effects of the warming itself.
