I treated myself just before Christmas to a new weather station. the
VP2, it arrived just after Boxing Day and is now installed adjacent to
Met Screen, early indications are good and temperature and rainfall
are very similar to the met gauges. Already had a gust to 65mph on New
Years Eve !

Problem is though is the change over time or Midnight. My Climat
Station runs from 0900-0900hrs and is the standard Met time, but I
cant find anywhere with the console or the software to change this
and I am stuck at midnight, making it difficult to properly compare
future data

Does anyone has any solutions for this problem ?

Also does anyone else use any other software with the VP2 apart from
weatherlink, recommendations greatfully received.

www.bramptonweather.co.ukItis possible to export the data from weatherlinkinto an application such

as Excel. The summary can then be generated from there and it should be
possible to make a direct comparison with your old data.

However if you don't already have a suitable application it may be necessary
to investigate Google spreadsheets to see if that meets your needs. It is
free but I have no idea about is capabilities.

OK I have excel I could have ago at that, what format is the data
stored in - I cant see anything obvious in my folders

PaulPaul, I export all of my 10 minute data to a web site.

When you do browse - export records - select day month the data in Weatherlink
is exported as a text (.txt) file. That can then be imported into Excel and
edited.
Seehttp://www.lyneside.demon.co.uk/Haytor/automatic/AWS_feb2006.txtfor an
example of my final product.

Thanks for that Will and everyone else - now created a txt file - I
currently have it set to saving every minute, perhaps a change to 10m
maybe more appropriate ?

cheers
