Central Park almost 21°c

La Guardia 21.1°c

Incredible.

The US Climate Data I have has the record being 72f.

From 1960-90 averages:
Absolute January maximums:
Central Park 20.0°c
JFK 18.3°c
La Guardia 20.0°c

Incidentally warmer absolutes in February.

Could that explain why the westerly are so mild ?
