A change afoot?

That didn't go unoticed with me either, and is the merest

instead of the conveyor belt of depressions and W/SW winds
we get a few days of cooler but still pretty unintesting from
a sever winter wqeather point of view, showery and blustery
NW winds.
Without accreditation :-), I might not be qualified to say this, but
isn't the Barlett high a more likely scenario with depressions crossing
to the north of us, and with a ridge over the UK we will still get
westerlies but with less of the rain, in the south anyway?
Just a thought
