I think anyone living in the Snowdonia area could have come up with
the following gem of a quote...
"We've been recording the snowline on the mountain for the last 14
years and over that time we've seen a distinct downward trend in the
snow cover - not only in the height at which the snow is occurring but
also in the season.
And some of them might even have realised that if they were talking
about the height of the snowline it would be more correct to talk of an
upward trend.
