Hmm, I NEVER open e-mails from people, organisations or companies I
don't have contact with. (Being pedantic I've just ended a sentence
with a preposition, but I'm too tired to do propa gramer !)

Symantec have this mesage on their web site:-

New malicious code spreading through spam
A new malware, Trojan.Peacomm is spreading itself via spam containing
executable attachments. The spam messages appear to be harmless news
snippets reporting on current affairs like a prevailing storm in
Europe. Anti-virus signatures are available. Symantec Security
