Thanks Tony for posting that on here, It's probably one we would be
tempted to open without a thought.

Indeed, and I've had several spam emails over the last few days
purporting to be snow reports from the US. The fact that the subject
titles were all in upper-case, and the senders were patently
computer-generated or had sent to spamtrap addresses, allowed me to
delete them unopened.

I've been getting those. I thought that they were just random text to
defeat spam filters and assumed that there was a payload (spam) in the
form of a GIF down the bottom.

I'm not only getting the SPAM but the delivery-failure messages as they've
spoofed my domain. Amongst the routine responses there are a few saying
something on the lines of "I'm sorry to say Joe Bloggs doesn't work here
any longer. His new e-mail address is . . . ".

I just this minute got an e-mail that both my SPAM trap junked and AVG
caught the virus (Delivery fail) 'Downloader-tibs - Full News.exe. My
first one of 2007.
