Hi
Snow cover this morning 2" (5cms) and min of -0.1 c. Had a drive up to
530 ft on the Wolds above Brantingham, less snow than in Cottingham and
Hull. In Hull sunny with occasional snow showers witht temp in Hull at
11.25 am 2.0 c.
Yesterday went for a walk from Dent railway station (1150 ft), about 2"
(5cms) snow lying with 3.5" (8cms) on the peak of Great Knoutberry
above (2207 ft). Unbroken sunshine to 2.30 pm.

This morning driving along the A64 it was snowing just to the east of
York, with a covering around Malton area. Scarborough just had about
1/4" of hail lying when I arrived about 8:20. Coming home tonight,
Malton again was the worst hit place, with almost 100% coverage, so 1-2"
at a guess.
Snowing now (2045) at Knaresborough and lying. 0.5C, DP -2.
Just looked at the GFS, doesn't look very promising does it?. It'll all
be over by Thursday/Friday, with 552dam toppling round that high.
Sniff.
