Well, surprise surprise, it's looking like the fizzle option. The
western edge of the main "blob" of snow seems to be extending
gradually westwards, but it's too far south already to help me.


Same here David. I looked outside about 11.30pm it was snowing lightly.
Lawns, paths, and roads with a dusting.

The dusting that settled earlier on in the night, is now being washed
away, by sleet.

If the skies clear in the night, there'll probably be quite a lot of
accidents tomorrow, with icy roads, having not had winter this year.
