About 250 photos of the flooding disaster in the south-west of the
Netherlands on 31 January and 1 February 1953 - which killed 1835
people - have been discovered and posted on the website of the Dutch
news agency ANP. Many have never been printed before. Some damaged
negatives were restored by computer.
