Rainfall for month 47mm - same as December. Since I have been recording
rainfall in August 2005, there have only been two months with greater than
70mm and both of these were in summer. None of the last two winters to date
have had a single month with more than 50mm. This winter looks like it will
be relatively dry (114mm Nov- Jan) so water shortages are again a
possibility this summer if other parts of East Anglia/S.E are similar.
