Rain (0900-0900z): 0.1 mm (frost)

1500z CALM 8000 HZ 1Ac180 05.2/-06.1 1011
RMK: Ac edge far to SW. Hoar frost has persisted all day in the
shade.
I suspect that the temperature is rather lower than the
Davis VP
is indicating. With not a breath of wind and the sun shining
strongly at a low angle into the louvres I think the body of
the
instrument is being warmed and the temperature sensor is
being affected by this. No doubt the indicated temperature
will
start to plummet in about an hour or so.
