Default [OBS] Chalfont St Giles - Thu 8th Feb 2007

Chalfont St Giles - Thursday 8th February 2007
------------------------------------------------------------

0630z NNE F2 1500 -SN 8St -00.6/-01.5 986
RMK: 7 cm of dry powdery snow on all surfaces including untreated
local roads. I don't know what the main road is like. I
think
this is the deepest snow we have had in the 19 years we have
lived here. The temperature had risen to +1.2 by 0330z but
has
fallen gradually since then. I assume that's when the snow
started.
