this is the deepest snow we have had in the 19 years we have
lived here. The temperature had risen to +1.2 by 0330z but

fallen gradually since then. I assume that's when the snow
started.

must say Norman the amount laying here took me big suprise (its fallen
so fast),its very rare for this town to bag nigh on 10cm in a single
snowfall and if this continues i must be in prime posistion to get 6
inches
