BRACKNELL (TAWFIELD)
... (1025Z) now very light rain/snow mixed (-RASN) with OAT +1.3, DP
+0.5. Visibility eased down a shade (probably increasing moisture
content in lower atmosphere), to ~5000M.
.... (1115Z): PPN ceased now for at least 10 mins - was only very light
(sleet then rain). Visibility up to 7000M (at least), and OAT: +1.6°C.
Just come back from a walk locally: snow cover very fragmented now,
somewhere around 15-20% taking the area as a whole, with all roads clear
(or only minor compacted patches on side streets); pavements largely
clear, and even open grass areas have remarkably small amounts -
considering the 6 to 8 cm we recorded yesterday, it has disappeared very
quickly (and the rain we've had hasn't been a major element in the
reduction).
