It was not frozen until late on. Bear Scotland sub contract to
Aberdeenshire/Moray Council depending on which bit of the A96 is frozen.

Aberdeenshire/Bear had not gritted since 07:15 despite the forecast for more
snow/rain and freezing temps. The snow stopped early but still no gritting
and the road lends itself to run off causing problems - poor drainage/design.

Dramlach cleared by Moray/Bear is steeper so run off clears more easily (into
the High St?)! therefore not so susceptible to freezing (into the High St?)!

Sorry OT but as I drive it every day close to my heart as both councils know!
