Not necessarily. In fact of my 10 warmest March days, 6 occured on an
E or SE wind.

I've many examples of 15C on a SE wind (most recent 16.6C on 19/3/05)
Recent example on an easterly - 16.7 on 23/3/03
Unusual on a NE, last time was 20/3/98 - 15.8C
