Here is my very unscientific review of winter 2006/2007:

I do apologise for my language, but it was wasn't it?

Actually the more I think about it, Autumn 2006 wasn't much better and I
can see Spring going the same way. So this leads me to believe that out
Summers will be too bloody hot and stifling the rest of the year will be
mild and manky.

Great, that cheers me up no end.

Could be that we end up with very little variation between summer and
winter; ie, Winter = Mild and Wet, Summer = Cool and Wet.

I can still see the need for a hosepipe ban though.

On the upside, I'd normally have got through a tank of oil and a couple
of shed loads of logs by now. We still have a couple of weeks of oil
left from last summers delivery, and still only 2/3rds of the way
through the second log load.
