Snow-wise it has been pathetic though.

Least snowy winter here since I came here in April 2002.
Very wet though and mild. More windy than normal but not excessive.

In contrast, here (Cranleigh, SW Surrey) - with two decent falls of 2-3
inches - it has been the snowiest since (IIRC) 2002-3.

Here too there have been a few days with a decent covering of snow on
the ground, but especially on 8 Feb when 15 cm was lying at midday,
the most since Dec 1990, while
the minimum of -8.6 C on the morning of the preceeding day was the
lowest in any month since Dec 2000 and the lowest in Feb since 1991.
