Default Early Warning Update

I have to say that it is looking as bad as I can remember! While it
looks possibile that Shetland may have a respite as the centre tracks
east, I may just be that bit to far south and - along with Orkney -
catch the full strngth as it passes by to the north.

just checked the MO site again after my previous post to see that a
warning has now been issued.

And in view of what you've been saying, we've been out and picked up all
the fishing floats and brought them inside. Some of them are made of
quite hard material and I don't fancy any of them coming through the window.

I guess we have a sleepless night ahead.

Currently just nudging F7 SW'ly, peak gust 49 mph. Baro 983 falling rapidly.
