But not as much as you, evidently.

Professional = engaged in an activity as a paid job rather than as an amateur.
Amateur = engaged in an activity without being paid.

It may not be assumed that the former is of necessity better than the latter (or
vice versa).

Prostitutes are an example of 'professional' ... are they 'better' than those
who perform a similar function for love?
