I'm based at Southampton and these high temperatures in the last
couple of days have surprised me - it didn't feel anything like that
warm. My estimation would have been Sunday 21c, Monday 23c, Tuesday
23c. I can only guess that low humidity has made it feel a good deal
less hot than the temperatures indicate. The first 10 days of the
month actually felt significantly warmer - and were more humid.

Have to disagree there Nick, it felt every bit of the nr 29C here in
Christchurch yesterday, and every bit of the 28.4C the day before.....
