Default Snow on the Wolds

Update.
More than an inch of snow has fallen since last post, with radar

indicating
more to come.
Main road now completely covered and very gusty with mini drifts in the
garden. Could be an interesting night if this continues.

It was an interesting morning, too, though quite localised. We'd been
staying at Cherry Burton (near Beverley) and the minor roads were covered in
the (Tuesday) morning.

Stopped for diesel before joining the M62, and the snow was falling so
thickly that when pulling out from under the service station canopy, the
side window was opaque before I got onto the road. Had to wind it down and
endure a face-full. Clear once we got to the M62 though - by Goole, there
was no trace of snow on the ground or in the air.
