Have to disagree there Nick, it felt every bit of the nr 29C here in
Christchurch yesterday, and every bit of the 28.4C the day before.....

Regards
Paul

My mum (near Christchurch) was 'moaning' about the heat too recently and
she's not normally one
to complain about hot weather. It's been uncomfortably hot (at least for me)
down here too.
I was getting 28°C again on the car gauge this afternoon around Tiverton;
not a good day to restart my tennis career.. ;-p

Barring the odd hiccup we seem to have had a prolonged period of dry, fine
weather down here since the beginning of May, almost continental in feel.

Anyway, I've had enough of it; bring on the thundery northerlies !
