Some intense large hail showers last night. Also a minimum temperature
of 1.8C made it the 2nd coldest night of 2007.

During hail near Bolventor (Bodmin Moor) late yesterday evening, there
were a number of accidents. 4 cars flipped over, all in different
incidents! Anyone familiar with that stretch of road will know it's
like a race track at quiet times - so hitting a section of road
covered in ice can have dramatic results.
