Default Radar seemed to struggle!

Based on the forecast and the rainfall radar thought it would be ok for golf
in Kent this afternoon. Turned out to be quite heavy rainfall most of the
afternoon. Ended up with 4mm in S.Essex but historically looking at the
radar doesn't look that much. Probably the wrong sort of rain. ;-)

The weather sarf of the river in Lewisham was positively Welsh (and I
say this as someone who has thoroughly enjoyed several wet Welsh
holidays). A low thick cloudy soaking sort of rain, persistent and
extraordinarily wet, but in fact when driving, windscreen wipers were
never on the highest setting, and I'll be interested to see tomorrow
whether the garden earth is more than just damp below the surface.
