And a bit further north too, in Moray. We climbed to 6000 feet
in blue wave this afternoon, giving us a view of the country
from Mount Keen to Assynt, and from the North Sea to An Teallach
and Ben Nevis. Visibility was superb, apart from dozens of
plumes of smoke where heather was being burned. Too warm inside
the glider, but not so warm on the ground where there was a cool
westerly breeze with a good deal of north in it.
