After today's scorcher, De Bilt set a new April record today: with +28.9C,
this is the warmest April day in De Bilt since the begin of records. Quoting
knmi.nl, it was +29.7C in Westdorp, in Zeeland (!). On 21/4/1968,
temperatures in Venlo and Gemert reached +32.2C, which still is the April
record for the country and the earliest tropical day.

Previous earliest 25°C was on 15th April 1904 when the maximum was
26.4°C.
