Default Summit of the warm spell - Herstmonceux 26.5°C !

UK max. temps on Sunday http://tinyurl.com/2wvua3

Lerwick 11.8°C, Abeporth 12.1°C, Camborne 12.9°C,

Camborne often concerns me. I commented on some very low maxima last
year when Camborne managed to be the coldest in the country for 2
consecutive days, when it was warm & sunny in Pz. I could see the TV
mast behind Camborne glinting in the sunshine, so it certainly wasn't
in fog all day.

Today Camborne's been around 3C colder than St Mawgan much of the day.
It's been rather misty along the north coast but looking at the
surfcams it's appeared duller at Newquay than in St Ives Bay.

Considering St. Mawgan's exposed cliff top position I would have
expected Camborne to be a degree or so higher if anything. It was also
5C colder than the equally exposed Culdrose at times. OK, Culdrose was
fairly clear of any mistiness, but I've sometimes seen even greater
differences when there's been no obvious reason.
