Fantastic image - love the wave/interference patterns!


They're great aren't they, it looks a pretty long wavelength to me.
It's interesting how the western rocks destroy the original wave
pattern, which is why there's virtually no little surfing to be had on
Scilly.

There's a camp site in a wonderful position at Pereglis on St Agnes
(the southernmost island attached to the smaller Gugh by a sandbar).
The small westfacing beach is just visible near the N tip of the
island. It's like a shallow lagoon and gets very warm on a sunny day -
several degrees warmer than the open sea temperature. Zoom in and you
can see what I mean.
