Is there any way to "class" different months based on e.g. mean
temperature and precipitation, so you can put it into a certain
category, resulting something like:
January CET:
below:
2°: Chilly
1°: Cold
0°: Unusually cold
-1°: Very cold
-2°: Extremely cold
-3°: Severe
-4°: Exceptional

Aren't all of those terms perceptual?
(I would have thought that 'Extremely' would have to be 'worse' than 'Severe'.)

A month can be above or below 'average' but not 'abnormal'.

When I think of it again, my idea wasn't too good, I meant more of a
"how rare is this month"-classification, but all I need for that is
probably just some kind of probability calculator, which means this
topic was kind of useless.
