Default spring easterlies are here

On a tatty piece of sub-ether Ken Cook at said...
Hi, All,

It's good to know in these changing times that the good old spring
easterly can still make an appearance in NE England and also that the
North Sea is still relatively cool enough to make the next week's
daily forecasts the traditional challenge in our area.

Will the North Sea haar / fret / rope clear or will it not? Will it
cool enough for fog and drizzle or will it burn off enough for wall to
wall sunshine? Will it stay clear long enough overnight for frost?

Will NE folk ignore the difficulties and just complain about the
forecast?

Always called it 'a roke' round our neck of the woods...
