The BBC is consuming its news slot this morning with hearsay about a
4.7 quake in SE England. There is some talk of an explosion. A viewer

The NEIC list says earthquake though. (Only just made it on -the
criteria is that outside the States, they do not list quakes under

The location fix from the USGS put it just offshore, S of Dymchurch. So
it's likely the explosion was as a result of the earthquake, not a cause.
