May/June is often the best time in the NW but if you get any sort of
northerly it can get pretty cold. Given the right situation fresh snow can
be seen on the mountains.


Thanks for that, they certainly seemed to portray the image
I have of NW Scotland, low cloud and mist!


There's been a lot of fine and sunny weather up there in the past few
weeks. It's so dependent on wind direction.
