I first visited that area in the early 70s and have had many holidays
there. One late June I had a week of cold, drizzly weather which
culminated in snow above about 600 metres followed by a week of very
hot, blazing blue sky.

The most recent visit was last Christmas, to Reiff, overlooking the
Summer Isles. We had mobile 'phone coverage and television has been
available for over thirty years. A lot of places now have satellite or
Freeview.
