The latest Met Office forecast for Saturday to Monday seems very
pessimistic, suggesting dull wet conditions (if not as bad as earlier
this week). This seems at odds with the weather charts, which shows
some fronts but also high pressure (1020+ mb). My own guess from that
would just be high or medium level cloud, and bright.

So is the met office forecast likely to be realistic and would it be
better to schedule outdoor activities for Friday or Tuesday (rather
than Sat-Mon) if possible?
