Wouldn't it be easier just to *ask*?
I do not know the right questions to ask.
You're kidding, right - you found enough questions to ask of me about
it. The only thing lacking was a light shining in my face...
The beginning of any research project is marked by formulating the
questions to ask.
We are just scratching the surface of what is going to turn out to be
a very complex subject area. First we have to identify the problems.
Then we can formulate hypotheses and from there begin to cull the list
down to the best answer we can come up with.
There is no justification to adopt the Stevenson Screen as the de
facto standard. In fact it's design is kinda primitive compared to the
problem at hand. For example, consider the tremendous improvement of
just putting it under a simple sun shade like an umbrella. Now you
have a dual layer solution - the umbrella solves the problem of direct
sunlight and the enclosure solves the problem of stray radiation.
