Default May 2007 and Spring 2007 at Hazlehead, Aberdeen

MAY 2007:

Mean Max: 13.4
Mean Min: 6.1

High Max: 22.1 (23rd)
Low Max: 8.9 (10th)

High Min: 10.7 (18th)
Low Min: 2.3 (15th)

Total Rain: 78.2mm
Rain Days: 16
Wet Days: 9
Wettest Day: 22.2mm (30th)

Total Sunshine: 181.7hrs
Sunniest Day: 13.9hrs (21st)
Days with no sun: 3 (4th, 13th and 29th)

An uninspiring month with average temperatures, below average sunshine
and above average rainfall.
It wasn't as wet here as it was at Dyce because on many days when the
sky looked black to the north there was little rain here (most notably
on the 20th when there was 10 hours of sun here and only 0.8mm of
rain, Dyce had 9mm and only 4 hours sun). 42.2mm of rain fell in
40hrs over the 29th/30th.

SPRING 2007:

Mean Max: 12.6
Mean Min:5.0
Overall Mean: 8.8

Total Rain: 134.6mm

Total Sun: 541.0hrs

On a par with spring 1938 as the warmest spring on record, locally.
Sunshine well above average and rainfall well below (despite the wet
end to May). Mean temperature was almost 2.4C above that of spring
2006.

Mean temperature for the past 12 months has been 9.78C.
