Joe :
Sorry for being picky Simon, but Mid summers day is not until 24th June
as
it is a quarter day, today is the first day of summer (The summer
solstice)
So the Scandinavians (who celebrate it on 24th) got it right all along?
Please could you explain?
Adrian

Hello Adrian,
The 21st June is the longest day, while the 24th June is a quarter day which
is a religious day for paying quarterly rent.
