You've rubbed it in again! I'm only just round the corner (relatively
speaking) and it's been a murky, damp and muggy sort of day here. Saying
that though the sun has now come out.
I have never known a season so early. The strawberries are now over, I am
picking cucumbers, runner & French beans and the first truss of tomatoes are
nearly ready to pick as well (all outdoors).
Currently at 19:00, 16.4C, RH 80%, DP 12.7C, 999.9 mb, Wind SE 4 mph, 1.3
hours of sunshine so far today.

We were lucky, you had to be right on the south coast of Cornwall to
get prolonged sunshine. I went swimming around 14:00, unbroken
sunshine right on the seafront, quite cloudy by then just 1000m or so
inland where I live. Sea a bit lumpy. Max 20.3C. Nice picture of
Penzance prom yesterday at
www.cornwallcam.co.uk/ showing just how
sunny it's been. Shame there are no sunshine figures for Penzance any
more.
(Don't worry, we're overdue for 3 days sea fog!)
