Corfu/AP: +34.8C
Argostoli: +34.5C
Florina: +32.2C

Temperatures were very variable in Crete and there were reports of
very frequent switches between hot air from inland and a cool sea
breeze. People travelling along the coast yesterday reported totally
different conditions within a few hundred metres (ie from 42C down to
30C and then up to 40C again in a few seconds). This can be viewed at
the station of Palaeochora, where temperatures were really independent
of time of day.

Today's expected to be slightly cooler in Athens -but still hot.
Tomorrow's forecast to be the hottest day in downtown Athens and other
parts of continental Greece. Could be a day of new records in areas
that didn't get the chance to reset their own ones yesterday.
